Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss organisation for children’s aid. Since 1960, Tdh has helped build a better future for children and youth, especially those most exposed to risks, making an impact with innovative and sustainable solutions. Working in more than 30 countries, Tdh focuses on maternal and child health, migration and access to justice for children.

  • To carry out the instructions of the Programme Coordinator and delegated administrative tasks of Programme team members under the approval of the Programme Coordinator.
  • Asist maintaining the Fund’s primary documentation, management of the Fund’s databases.
  • Support registering purchase requisitions, contract tracking and payments from Programme department side, in communication with relevant departments (especially with Logistics and Finance departments)
  • Support the Programme Coordinator in preparing and regularly update Tdh internal key programme documents and database, such as, Tdh Standard Donor Mapping document, Capacity Statement document, Monitor Tdh Global Opportunity Tracker (requiring daily quick check up). Donor Engagement Calendar, National & Subnational Humanitarian Systems Mapping etc.
  • Assist administrative documents in the recruitment of staff in Programme department Skills
  • Manages time and priorities, meets deadlines.
  • Attention to details and accuracy is highly required skills (spelling check, consistency check of certain documents etc.)
  • Cooperates and contributes to achieving goals.
  • Actively and effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Adapts communication to the intercultural environment.
  • Respect for others.

Training/Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Necessary qualities: organization, proactivity, diplomatic, communication skills, stress resistance.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with an NGO is preferred.
  • At least 1 — 2 years of experience in performing similar tasks.

Languages

  • Fluency in Ukrainian (written and spoken) is required, basic knowledge of English is required (minimum B1 is desirable, willingness to study English in case A2 applicants)

IT know-how

  • Experience in using computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, knowledge of database package MS Excel.
