Child Protection in Action!

Training

On October 15-16, a two-day training on child protection in emergencies brought together specialists from social services, children's services, psychologists and teachers from remote villages in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Participants had the opportunity not only to gain new knowledge but also to practice important skills for working with children.

The program covered such important topics as:

  • basic principles of child protection and development during emergencies;
  • the impact of crises on children's development and ways to support them;
  • in-depth study of the Minimum Standards for Child Protection;
  • practical methods of communication with children of different ages and stages of development.

Participants learned how to adapt their communication individually to each child, taking into account their needs, and developed motivation to implement new practices on the ground. This training was an important step in strengthening the capacity of local communities to ensure the safety and well-being of children in all circumstances.

We believe that such initiatives can change the world for the better, starting with the smallest steps.

Together, we can build a safer future for every child!
