Tdh is cooperating with local partners in Khmelnytsky region to equip collective centers for internally displaced persons.
"The Swiss Terre des Hommes Foundation is implementing a large-scale project to create IDP accommodation centres in twelve territorial communities of the oblast. The Foundation allocates 180 thousand hryvnias for one object. Last week the first materials and equipment have already been delivered to three communities of the region" - words from the speech of Volodymyr Yuriev, Deputy Head of Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration.
Support projects are different - from repair works to the purchase of equipment. Thus, to improve energy saving and create more comfortable conditions for collective living in the dormitory of Slavuta city community, 18 windows were ordered to be replaced.
The arrangement of collective centers for IDPs is carried out within the framework of the project "SMILE - Support for children and their families during Migration and Integration in new Local Environments" that is implementing with the participation and financial support of the Crisis and Support Center of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.
