Over the past year, the COURAGE IN PALMS OF HANDS project has been strengthening protection and support for the most vulnerable IDPs and children from host communities in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions.
As part of the project, Tdh created the Western Ukrainian Child Protection Consortium, which includes two main partners - the Charity Fund POSMISHKA UA and Charity Fund “Yellow-Blue Wings”.
We also worked with our partners to build the capacity of regional and local partners through capacity building activities:
- Creation of 100 child-friendly spaces - safe, child-friendly environments for children and youth;
- Providing vital social support services (case management, individual and family assistance) in close coordination with social protection organizations for 560 families;
- Organizing and conducting structured group psychosocial support activities for more than 26,000 children and youth.
Watch the video below to learn more about the project and the Consortium's activities.
