Terre des hommes is looking for a proactive, energetic and organised Driver with his own car (car, minivan) to help our team in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The driver is responsible for the safe transport of passengers and/or accompanying cargo, as well as for performing other tasks required by the delegation. He/she is obliged to follow strict instructions and safety guidelines provided by the supervisor.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives the vehicle in compliance with traffic regulations.
- Checks the general condition of the vehicle and its cleanliness on a daily basis (checks the levels of technical fluids, tyre pressure, etc.);
- Complies with the requirements of traffic rules, rules for the transportation of goods and people.
- Controls the efficiency of the use of fuels and lubricants and other consumables.
- Fills vehicles with the necessary fuel/diesel, keeps all supporting primary documents (fiscal checks, receipts, receipts) and submits them to the management. Ensures the storage and use of fuel cards.
- Checks the technical condition of the vehicle before leaving the park and upon return.
- Ensures the safety of parking lots;
- Provides first aid to victims of road accidents.
- Monitors the timely renewal of car insurance and the necessary documents in case of international travel;
- Maintains a daily vehicle logbook both in hard copy and in electronic format in Excel;
- Checks and participates in the loading and unloading of the vehicle, and coordinates this process if necessary.
- Immediately notifies the supervisor of any accidents, damage, assaults or thefts related to the vehicle.
Education / qualification
- Completion of primary education or equivalent technical or commercial school;
- Valid driver's license of category B for at least 5 years; safe driving experience; practical knowledge of regulations on labor and environmental protection, safe driving.
- Ability to provide first aid.
Work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Contingency driving skills (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a multinational team or in humanitarian missions is desirable;
- Excellent knowledge of the road system in Western and Central Ukraine;
- Basic vehicle maintenance and handling skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Willingness to be flexible and ready to contribute to the organization by performing other duties as required.
Language skills:
- Fluency in Ukrainian, ability to communicate and conduct communication in English (preferred)
Knowledge in the field of IT:
- Experience in using computer programs such as Microsoft Office, knowledge of MS Excel database package at the entry level.
