Description

The Driver is responsible for providing secure and timely driving services to support passengers and/or official goods and any other tasks as required by the delegation. S/he is required to follow strict instructions and security guidance provided by the supervisor.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Drives a company car, taking into account compliance with traffic rules;
  • Checks the general condition of the vehicle and its cleanliness on a daily basis (checks the levels of technical fluids, tire pressure, etc;)
  • Complies with the requirements of traffic rules, rules for the transportation of goods and people.
  • Controls the efficiency of the use of fuels and lubricants and other consumables.
  • Fills vehicles with the necessary fuel/diesel, keeps all supporting primary documents (fiscal checks, receipts, receipts) and submits them to the management. Ensures the storage and use of fuel cards.
  • Checks the technical condition of the vehicle before leaving the park and upon return.
  • Ensures the safety of parking lots;
  • Provides first aid to victims of road accidents.
  • Monitors the timely renewal of car insurance and the necessary documents in case of international travel;
  • Maintains a daily vehicle logbook both in hard copy and in electronic format in Excel;
  • Checks and participates in the loading and unloading of the vehicle, and coordinates this process if necessary.
  • Immediately notifies the supervisor of any accidents, damage, assaults or thefts related to the vehicle.
Candidate profile

Education / Qualifications:

  • Completion of Primary Education or equivalent technical or commercial school;
  • Valid category B driving license since at least 5 years; safe driving record; knowledge in practice of regulations on labor and environmental protection, safe traffic;
  • Ability to provide first aid.

 

Work experience:

  • Minimum 3 year of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience extreme driving in emergencies is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience of working within a multi-national team or project environment is highly desirable;
  • Excellent knowledge of the road system of western   regions of Ukraine;
  • Basic routine maintenance and vehicle handling skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Willingness to be flexible and prepared to contribute to the organization in other duties as required;

 

Language skills: Fluency in Ukrainian (spoken and written); English language skills will be an advantage;

 

IT skills: Basic knowledge of IT (Microsoft Office, Internet).

 

Skills and qualities:

  • Minimum 3 year of experience in a similar role;

  • Excellent knowledge of the road system of western   regions of Ukraine;
  • Basic routine maintenance and vehicle handling skills;
