Our mobile Terre des hommes team held a new psychosocial session for children filled with warmth, energy and creativity! This day became special due to the combination of outdoor games and art therapy, which helped children to better understand themselves and their emotions.
The lessons began with active exercises that not only charged the children with positive energy, but also helped them to release the accumulated tension. These games created a friendly atmosphere where everyone felt like a part of the team, open to new acquaintances and communication.
Next came art therapy - the children enthusiastically painted Christmas decorations, using colors to express their emotions. It was not just a creative activity, but a space for emotional growth, self-expression, self-confidence and mutual support.
Yulia Kapitsa, a psychologist of the mobile team, shared her impressions: “Art therapy allows children to express their feelings without words and find emotional balance. We see how such classes help to strengthen the child's internal resources and improve their psychological well-being.”
Such events help children feel strong and supported by both the team and their peers.
We strive to create a world where every child can fulfill their potential, be themselves and step confidently into the future!
The “Be Here” project is implemented by three partner organizations - Terre des Hommes Foundation - Ukraine, Smile UA Charitable Foundation and NEEKA Ukraine with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine.
