This day is not only a reminder of the importance of taking care of your mental state, but also an opportunity to support others. Especially in a full-scale war.
Today, at the invitation of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, we joined the Mental Health Day event as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "Are You OK?". First, we took part in the Forum, and then in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk we conducted game activities for local children and children displaced by the war in their home towns and villages.
"Working at Terre des hommes, we do not separate psychosocial support and mental health, because it is an integral part of mental well-being. Our team works to provide the support that is the basis for improving mental health and ensuring stability, regardless of the conditions in which people are living," says Olena Yefymenko, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Manager.
Let's take care of our mental health together, because it is an important resource that needs to be protected, and don't hesitate to seek help when needed!
