Supporting communities and their residents in eastern and southern Ukraine is important!

Transfer of equipment

Over the past week, thanks to the financial support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine, we have provided crucial assistance in the form of energy saving kits to 37 communities in six regions of Ukraine.

These communities are located in the frontline areas of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions. Previously, in early 2024, 9,600 local and displaced families living there received kits for insulation and heating their homes.

Each set, which was handed over to city and village councils, includes two 200 W solar panels, an EcoFlow microinverter and a Delta Max charging station. These energy-saving devices will help ensure uninterrupted work of local specialists during stabilization blackouts.

"This assistance is necessary as it will provide access to electricity for more than 10,000 people. These kits will mainly be located in the points of indestructibility and the population will have access to use them," says Anton Bilyuk, Head of the Western Department of the Terre des Hommes Foundation in Ukraine.

The project "Providing displaced and non-displaced families with heating devices during the winter period in the affected regions of Ukraine", which has been implemented since December 2023, is implemented by Terre des Hommes Foundation in Ukraine in partnership with the Charitable Foundation "Eudemony of Ukraine" with the support of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs / OCHA Ukraine.
