Two trainings for social work professionals working with children and their families in communities have been completed!

Printed materials

 The first was a training on case management in child protection:

During the training, the participants gained a deep understanding of the basic concepts of child protection in emergencies, and learned about the principles and ethical aspects of case management. We reviewed all stages of case management:

  • Identification and determination of risk and protection factors;
  • Assessment of the child's needs;
  • Working with the case and developing a case plan;
  • Implementation of the plan and referrals;
  • Monitoring and case closure.

Case studies and group work were also conducted, which allowed participants to acquire practical skills in case management, documentation and information security. Particular attention was paid to case management for unaccompanied children who found themselves in conditions of gender-based violence.

 The second was a training on supervision and coaching:

Supervisors gained knowledge about work organization, data protection, and the importance and functions of supervision. We reviewed supervision practices and tools, as well as supervisor competencies. Particular attention was paid to staff care, prevention and response to professional burnout.

These trainings have become an important step in improving the competencies of specialists and supervisors in the field of child protection. We thank all participants for their active participation and dedication!
