Young leaders and their adult allies from Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Sumy regions took part in a three-day training on the YouCreate methodology in Ivano-Frankivsk.
YouCreate helps young people discover new qualities and inspires them to develop creative projects. Along the way, young people build reliable relationships and learn new ways to use creativity to create positive change in their communities.
Each team consisted of two young initiative, active students aged 13 to 16. The team was also accompanied by a teacher who had been trained and supported the group during the implementation of the creative initiative.
During the training, the participants took an active part in various creative workshops, practical exercises and interactive sessions, which allowed them to gain new knowledge and skills to implement their own social initiatives. The atmosphere was filled with energy, creativity and a desire to change their communities for the better.
The trainings are part of the project “Preparing Schools for Social Cohesion”. We have also created child-friendly spaces for psycho-emotional relief for children and youth in 33 educational institutions in 7 regions.
