We are training community facilitators in a new methodology for working with young people called "Move On and Engage"!

Training

On June 25-27, we organized a training for 23 professionals working with children and youth from Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipro regions on the new methodology "Move On & Engage".

This new methodology aims to sensitize adolescents and young people to five important skills that will enable them to assess common protection and psychosocial issues together, and then generate and implement group initiatives to address these issues, with the support of the wider community.

Therefore, at our training, the participants:

  • got acquainted with the basic principles and components of the methodology
  • discussed cases and shared their experiences with each other;
  • learned to work effectively in teams;
  • Gained practical skills and tools for working with young people on the ground;
  • formed an idea of how to use this methodology in their work;
  • learned how to develop strategies to strengthen the resilience of young people, which is a key factor in their successful development and adaptation to modern challenges.

"A group of professionals and people with a great desire to learn something new and pass it on to young people gathered here. I was inspired by the positive, creative atmosphere and the participants' enthusiasm for the practical exercises we offered. And the active discussion confirmed the importance of the training, this desire to learn and participate in the project and methodology," says Anastasia Vovk, Tdh trainer.

Thank you all for your active participation!
