Over the past two days, 189 families in the Starovirivska community of Kharkiv Oblast and the Trostyanetska community of Sumy Oblast have already received individual insulation kits and housing insulation kits. Tomorrow, about 110 families in Mykolaiv region will receive these kits.
A total of 8,500 internally displaced families from vulnerable categories and the most needy communities in seven oblasts in eastern and southern Ukraine are expected to receive winterization assistance over the course of the month.
"This project is important, especially in those communities that suffer from constant shelling. There are families who do not have access to centralized heating and sometimes electricity. Therefore, these kits can support them and keep them warm during the cold season," says Project Manager Anton Bilyuk.
