The initiative "Safe Happiness of Youth" is an opportunity to draw attention to the problem of dangerous places and advocate for your rights to safe recreation in the community.
Young people from Shchastia Vocational Lyceum with the participation of representatives of the NGO "We can - we act" completed the implementation of its initiative within the project "Young Citizens".
The precondition for this process was a meeting with the Head of the Shchastia military-civil administration and a presentation of the idea - to solve the problem of dangerous places of recreation and leisure for young people.
In cooperation with the police and the SES service, as partners in providing a safe space for residents, the youth created a photo portfolio of 20 photos of dangerous places in the community. These are abandoned buildings, public beaches, outdoor areas, public places, etc.
It is planned that the electronic version of the portfolio will be aimed at taking appropriate action to address the shortcomings of the relevant structural units of the Shchastia administration, which are responsible for shaping youth policy. As well as to representatives of the SES, the police of Sgcgstia city and other public organizations to jointly promote the demand of young people for safe public places of recreation, leisure and sports.
